Centralised exchange (CEX) volume totaled $1.59 trillion, while decentralized exchange (DEX) volume dropped about 30% month-over-month to $397.78 billion.
According to Nikkei, Sony Bank plans to issue a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin in the United States as early as fiscal 2026 for payments within Sony’s ecosystem, including games and anime.
The bank applied for a U.S. banking license in October and will establish a subsidiary to oversee the stablecoin business.
HashKey, Hong Kong’s largest regulated cryptocurrency exchange, is set to go public in Hong Kong. In 2024, the exchange recorded a trading volume of approximately $81.9 billion, revenue of around $92.6 million, and a loss of about $99.3 million.
It holds roughly $212 million in cash and cash equivalents, along with $76 million in digital assets.
Nate Geraci, President of The ETF Store, stated in a post on X that the first spot Chainlink ETF is expected to launch this week.
He noted that Grayscale plans to upgrade and convert its existing Chainlink private trust into a publicly tradable exchange-traded fund (ETF).
According to Tokenomist, major one-time token unlocks (over $5 million) in the next seven days include ENA and EIGEN.
Linear daily unlocks (over $1 million per day) during the same period include SOL, TRUMP, WLD, DOGE, ASTER, and AVAX, with a total unlock value exceeding $218 million.
