How can I troubleshoot web or app issues?
If you experience issues while using the OKX website or app, please try the following troubleshooting steps first:
Use an incognito browser
Try accessing OKX using Incognito mode in your browser.
Clear cache or Data
For Android
Go to Settings > Apps > OKX app > Storage.
Select Clear Cache first. If issues persist, select Clear Data (this logs you out but fixes many deep bugs).
For iOS
There’s no direct “Clear Cache,” but deleting and reinstalling the app achieves the same effect.
For browser
Open your browser settings.
Find the Privacy or Clear browsing data section.
Select Cookies and Cached files, then confirm to clear them.
Clearing cache is helpful when your crypto app keeps crashing during startup or after updates.
Reinstall OKX app
If your OKX app is still not working after updates and cache clearing, it’s time for a full uninstall/reinstall:
Remove OKX app from your device.
Restart your phone.
Download the latest version again from the official app store.
Note: always back up any recovery phrases or login credentials before uninstalling, especially for your wallet app.
Switch network
Try switching networks (for example, from mobile data to Wi-Fi, or vice versa) to rule out network connection issues.
