I’ll be honest—I got this one wrong. My expectation was that Trump would avoid escalating tensions with Iran ahead of the midterms, but events unfolded differently, and the market reacted immediately. Both US equities and $BTC came under pressure as risk appetite weakened. Before the geopolitical headlines hit, Bitcoin looked like it had a path toward the 62.7K region. Instead, price stalled near 62.2K and rolled over as uncertainty increased. Now attention shifts to tonight’s CPI release. With energy prices remaining elevated, inflation data could remain sticky. Even a reading that comes in around expectations may reinforce concerns about inflation staying higher for longer, which isn't particularly supportive for risk assets over the long term. One asset that continues to stand out is $MORPHO. I mentioned it during yesterday’s livestream, and it has shown notable relative strength despite broader market weakness. The protocol is increasingly looking like a serious contender in DeFi, and if growth and capital inflows continue, it could become a major player in the sector. As for $HYPE, price has already reached my projected 55 zone, and I exited according to plan. The trade played out largely as expected, although the speed of the decline following the geopolitical developments was faster than anticipated. My main focus now is the CPI release and how markets react afterward. There’s always the possibility of a sharp sentiment shift if the data comes in better than feared. Key resistance remains around the 62.7K–63K area for Bitcoin. The upcoming SpaceX-related developments around the 6/12 timeframe are also worth watching from a capital-flow perspective.
